My name is Heather Massey.  My life long dream has been to be a teacher.  I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education in 2002 from Eastern New Mexico University.  I have taught as a third grade classroom teacher in my hometown for 18 years. This is my first year to have the opportunity to serve children as a virtual elementary teacher through TriStar Virtual Learning Academy . I am honored as well as excited to embark on this up and coming adventure in education.  I do believe we can all achieve great things by embracing “the new normal” by offering families the choice of virtual education.
