Administrative Assistant

I am a 61 year old woman that has had a successful life based on a lot of obstacles that had to be crossed in order to get to this point.

My life began in 1960, born to a single mother, in Santa Rosa New Mexico. I attended Santa Rosa Elementary until my second grade year, at which point my Grandfather, who was my guardian, moved us to Fort Sumner. I grew up a very sheltered life, going to school was my only social interaction I was allowed to have. I did finally move back to Santa Rosa to complete my high school years. I met the love of my life in the summer of 1976, married him and started our family. I have four outstanding children that make me proud every day and six outstanding grandchildren that I love more than life itself. This small family is totally mine, and I would not change it one bit.

I worked several places starting at the age of 12 in Fort Sumner. The job that I enjoyed the most was working in corrections. It gave me the most gratitude getting to learn about life inside a prison setting.

I have gone through several emotional lessons that I am convinced are part of my destiny to mold me into a stronger, empathetic woman.
